HOW DOES THE SWITCH FROM ANOTHER PROVIDER TO CORERECON WORK?

Oh, it’s a seamless transition! CoreRecon has perfected the art of client onboarding through years of experience. Our well-crafted onboarding plan covers all aspects of migrating your IT infrastructure under our management and control. We take charge of coordinating communication with your previous provider, gathering and transferring information seamlessly to ensure a smooth handover.

To kickstart the process, we conduct comprehensive baseline assessments, identifying immediate areas of improvement within your IT environment. Armed with this knowledge, we hit the ground running, providing top-notch support for your critical business technologies from day one. Within the first 60-90 days, we’ll have our first CoreRecon IT strategy meeting, where we’ll develop a tailored IT plan specifically designed for your business. Get ready to embark on an exciting journey as our partnership begins to soar!

WILL WE EXPERIENCE ANY DOWNTIME WHEN SWITCHING TO CORERECON?

Rest assured, there won’t be any extended downtime when transitioning to CoreRecon. We ensure that any brief downtime required for system updates or installing our management tools is coordinated to happen after hours, at a time that suits you best. If we’re migrating hosted servers or systems from your current provider as part of the onboarding process, we’ll carefully plan and schedule any necessary migration-related downtime during off-peak and after-hours periods.

HOW LONG DOES THE ONBOARDING PROCESS TAKE?

CoreRecon’s onboarding process typically takes 7 days and consists of two main parts: pre-onboarding and onboarding day. The pre-onboarding phase begins 7 days prior to your designated onboarding day. During this time, we gather and validate information about your systems to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. Then, the much-awaited onboarding day arrives! This is when we “flip the switch” and CoreRecon becomes your trusted managed services partner. To kickstart the relationship on a positive note, we bring several members of Team CoreRecon to host a delightful town-hall lunch for your team. It’s a great opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, learn about your organization’s IT pain points, and establish a foundation of trust right from the start.

WHAT IS THE FEE FOR ONBOARDING?

At CoreRecon, we believe in rewarding commitment. As long as you’re committing to a 2-year agreement, we waive the onboarding fee. We’re thrilled to offer flexibility with shorter terms as well, but please note that shorter-term agreements may be subject to an onboarding fee, typically equivalent to 1x – 2x the total of one month’s managed services fee.

WHO DOES CORERECON SERVE? ARE WE A GOOD FIT?

WHAT ABOUT OFFICE RELOCATIONS OR OPENING NEW OFFICES?

No worries, we’ve got you covered. CoreRecon assists throughout the entire process. We provide a comprehensive checklist for pre- and post-move tasks. We take charge of your technology, ensuring a smooth transition and timely setup in your new office.

WHAT’S INCLUDED? WHAT’S OUT-OF-SCOPE?

At CoreRecon, our focus is delivering our comprehensive managed services package, 24/7, 365 days a year. Our fixed monthly per-user fee covers everything you need to keep your existing IT environment running smoothly and securely. It includes ongoing support, maintenance, and security services.

However, new projects and hardware/software purchases fall outside the scope of the managed services agreement. Initiatives like server upgrades, firewall installations, office relocations, or new office setups would be considered separate projects and quoted accordingly.

DOES CORERECON BILL HOURLY FOR SUPPORT?

We firmly believe that hourly billing creates a conflict of interest between the client and the MSP. With hourly pricing, the MSP benefits from every problem that arises, incentivizing reactive rather than proactive solutions. At CoreRecon, we charge one flat fee for our services, without limits on the support you can receive. This model aligns our incentives with yours, driving us to make your IT infrastructure run smoothly, ensuring productive workdays for all.

HOW MUCH DO MANAGED IT SERVICES COST?

The cost of managed IT services can vary based on factors such as the complexity of your IT environment, business demands, the number of technology users, and additional project requirements. Each client’s needs are unique, and we tailor our services to fit your specific requirements. WHAT IS MANAGED DETECTION RESPONSE (MDR), AND DOES CORERECON OFFER IT?

As part of our Managed Security Services program, The CoreRecon Method, we include MDR services. We’ve learned that MDR is crucial for all businesses, helping prevent attacks from infiltrating your IT systems.

WHAT IS A SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER (SOC), AND DOES CORERECON OFFER IT?

Located in Corpus Christi, TX, our Security Operations Center (SOC) is an integral part of our Managed Security Services program, our well-tuned SOC analyzes security traffic, reviewing logs and events from your IT environment to differentiate between legitimate and potentially threatening activity.

WHAT SECURITY FEATURES ARE INCLUDED IN CORERECON’S MANAGED SECURITY SERVICES PROGRAM?

DO YOU RECOMMEND CYBERSECURITY INSURANCE?

Absolutely! We strongly recommend cybersecurity insurance to all our clients. While our cybersecurity program provides multiple layers of protection, threat actors are constantly evolving. Even with a robust defense, breaches can occur. Cybersecurity insurance acts as another layer of defense, ensuring your company has the necessary resources to recover in the event of an attack.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CYBERSECURITY SERVICES AND CYBERSECURITY INSURANCE?
